AkzoNobel Unveils New Approach to Vehicle Refinishes
Nov. 3, 2016—AkzoNobel is speaking with companies this week at the ongoing SEMA Show in Las Vegas regarding the launch of its new color innovation, Colorvation.
AkzoNobel gave a press conference on the subject on Wednesday.
The company says the foundation of Colorvation is two key elements: Automatchic Vision and MIXIT. By using those two technological elements, the Colorvation approach increases speed and accuracy in color matching, and, ideally, reduces costs.
Chief element Automatchic Vision is a digital spectrophotometry system, which AkzoNobel says is capable of correctly matching color up to three times faster than traditional methods.
